Going New Places and Meeting New Faces

Perhaps the most remarkable success story for Wesley Mortgage last year was the immeasurable growth we saw as a company. From moving our headquarters office from Franklin, TN, to the heart of Downtown Nashville and opening new branch offices in surrounding counties to more than doubling our staff size and increasing our mortgage licensing, plenty of “new” places and faces were introduced at Wesley Mortgage.

  • Moving Our Headquarters: We bid farewell to our previous Franklin, TN headquarters and welcomed a fresh start in a new office in Downtown Nashville’s Renaissance Hotel tower. This move resulted from acquiring the local operations of area peer Colten Mortgage and represents our commitment to staying at the heart of Tennessee's dynamic real estate scene.
  • Expanding Branch Offices: 2023 marked a significant period of growth for Wesley Mortgage. We not only increased our local presence but also proudly expanded outwards by opening new branch offices in two vibrant Tennessee communities: Mt. Juliet, TN, and Jackson, TN. These additions to our network allow us to serve clients across the state better.
  • Increasing State Licenses: We added more state mortgage licenses to broaden our commitment to excellence and customer service further. These licenses enable us to reach even more individuals and families looking for their dream homes. We are now licensed in all states throughout the southeast U.S. and as far west as Colorado.
  • Welcoming New Talent: As a result of this immense growth, our team grew much stronger in 2023 with the addition of talented new employees. Each new hire brings unique skills and expertise to the Wesley Mortgage family, contributing to our continued success. Our expansion branch offices introduced these new loan originators: Joe McNamee, Matt Wood, John Burkeen, and David Ross.

Through acquiring Colten Mortgage, we introduced a slew of exceptional individuals to our team. Their combined experience and dedication have helped us enhance our service offerings and provide even better solutions to our clients. They include:

  • Sponsoring the Music City Grand Prix: Wesley Mortgage proudly sponsored the 2023 Music City Grand Prix, a thrilling event showcasing Nashville's vibrant spirit, for a second time. Engaging with our community and supporting a world-class sporting event once again was an incredible opportunity.
  • Partnering with the Tennessee Titans Partnership: As the Official Mortgage Provider for the Tennessee Titans, we are thrilled to continue participating in their journey. Our staff got the chance to attend this past year’s Titans' Training Camp Day and Kickoff Luncheon, connecting with the fans and showing our unwavering support for our beloved Titans team.
  • Recognizing Community Heroes: Our commitment to community engagement was further exemplified through the Tennessee Titans and Wesley Mortgage Community Heroes program. As we have in years past, at every Titan’s home game, we honored local heroes who make a difference in our communities. Watch all of this past season’s Community Hero videos here.
  • Supporting Our Individual LOs: As our own team continued to grow throughout last year, we had the opportunity to sponsor and present several events for our staff loan originators. These events included lunch and learn workshops, open houses, community fundraisers, local festivals, holiday parties, and more. Such opportunities allowed our LOs to grow their networks and expertise.
  • Providing Real Estate Education: Wesley Mortgage hosted several real estate-focused Continuing Education courses in the second half of the year after moving into our new Nashville office. These classes touched on many topics, such as Home Inspections, Termite/Pest Control, Foreclosures, Evictions, and Judgments. Presenting such educational opportunities further emphasizes our dedication to knowledge and professionalism in this industry.

Conclusion

In conclusion, 2023 has been a year of remarkable growth, meaningful partnerships, and a commitment to excellence for Wesley Mortgage. As we look ahead to 2024, we are excited to continue serving our clients and community with the same passion and dedication that have defined us throughout the years.
